Design a packaging system for the roll out of Nike's inline skate wheel line to reinforce the company's reputation as a leader and innovator of high performance sporting goods equipment. The new package should stimulate possibilities in both display and manufacturing and should also address the theft and security concerns of the retailers.

The Patented Wheel Skewer

Nike's Market Survey revealed unanimous approval with retailers and customers. The high density packing and display options gave retailers an even better reason to carry Nike Wheels and customers loved the fact that they could reuse the Skewer to organize and carry new or used wheels. The Wheel Skewer was featured in several design and trade publications, including Inline Retailer's "The Year's Best Innovative Ideas".
